No trackers, no audience measurement

Browsing this site sets no cookie. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no tracking social media button. The typefaces are served from the site’s own server rather than from a third-party service: your browser therefore makes no request to any external domain. That is also why no consent banner is imposed on you.

Like any web server, the hosting provider records technical connection logs for security and proper operation. They are not used to analyse visitor behaviour.

Newsletter — what is collected

If you subscribe to the notebook, the following are recorded:

• your email address;
• the date of your request and the date it was confirmed;
• the IP address from which the request was made, along with the originating page — kept as proof of consent, which the GDPR requires to be demonstrable;
• two random identifiers, used to confirm the subscription and then to allow one-click unsubscription.

No other data is requested: no name, no company, no job title. Email opens and clicks are not tracked.

Why, and on what legal basis

This data serves only to send you the notes from the notebook. The legal basis is your consent, collected through double opt-in: the subscription becomes active only once you have clicked the link received by email. An unconfirmed address never receives anything.

Who has access

The subscriber list is stored in France, on the site’s server hosted by OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France). It is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties.

Email delivery is entrusted to Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) (17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France), a French provider acting as a processor. Only recipients’ addresses are passed to it, and solely for the delivery of the messages. That provider’s own processing terms are described in its privacy policy ↗.

For how long

• An unconfirmed subscription is deleted automatically after 30 days.
• A confirmed subscription is kept for as long as you remain subscribed.
• After unsubscribing, only the address is kept, in a form that guarantees it will not be re-subscribed by mistake and proves your request was honoured. You may require its complete erasure.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

The simplest route: every email contains an unsubscribe link that works in one click, with no form and no justification to give. For anything else, write to a.moeuf@am-partners.io — an answer comes within one month at the latest, and in practice much sooner.

If an answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés: cnil.fr ↗.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The subscriber list lives on a dedicated server whose database is not publicly exposed, and sending operations are protected by an administration token. Confirmation and unsubscribe links rely on random, unguessable identifiers.
